Chris Dodd and Barney Frank Should Step Down...

Someone should tell the two guys who are up to their necks in the Freddie and Fannie debacle to step aside and let honest folks do the negotiating for the American people in this national crisis!
 
I can't stand seeing these two crooks being the spokespersons for the resolution of this bailout legislation fiasco!
 
It's time to let these losers know we don't want them speaking for us! Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank, remove yourselves from the negotiations! You have major conflicts of interest, and shouldn't be anywhere near the negotiating table!

Obama has shown no leadership whatsoever in the current National Crisis. He can be reached on the phone if he's needed...Huh?
 
McCain has shown he is a take action kind of guy, cancelling his campaign to go to Washington. Obama shows  this situation is definitely above his pay grade...

 You can't stand up because you are chained to Fannie, Freddie and corrupt money! You've been in the tank for years to your own interests, and didn't lift a finger when Bush was warning about the changes needed in Fannie and Freddie. You din't stand up to help fix the  problems that are now bringing this country down!
 
Stand up, Chris Dodd ,stand up! Oh Gosh, what am I saying, you cant stand up! You're sitting on the banking oversight committee! You have been sitting on a pile of money given to you by Fannie and Freddie and financial favors from Countrywide! You couldn't stand up if you tried! You're stuck in the mire of your corruption!
 
Stand up Barney Frank! Stand up! Oh gosh, what am I saying? You can't stand up...stand up President Carter, President Clinton! Stand up! Oh gosh...what am I saying? You can't stand up! You set up the current system for this disaster!
 
Stand up Jim Johnson! Stand up Franklin Raynes! Stand up Obama! Oh gosh, what am I saying? You can't stand up! You're in the tank with Freddie and Fannie, your personal slush fund! What am I saying....
 
Stand up tax payer...stand up! The money is coming out of your hide...stand up while corrupt Dodd sits as chair of the hearings that are supposed to get our country dug out of the problem the corrupt dems buried us in!  Stand Up Pelosi, and Reid, stand up! Gosh, what am I saying? You've been sitting on your hands the last two years after gainning the majority in the House and Senate, while citizens have been asking for drilling  for our own oil here and now! What am I thinking? You can't stand up! You are sitting on your hands supporting high gas prices!

You are being held hostage by the most corrupt "how can I fool 'em today" democrat majority ever in American History! Palin Praises Her Country While Biden Lectures American Taxpayers.

The contrast between the two VP candidates today in television interviews, couldn't be more stark. Sarah, the all American woman, praising her fellow citizens, showing pride in her country, ...Biden, the elitist, lecturing American taxpayers.
 
On the one hand we see a person from a small town in Alaska, who beat the good ol' boys in her party at their corrupt game, and won the respect of the citizens of her state, becoming governor.
 
On the other, we see one of the good ol' boys from Washington, telling us taxpayers to be more patriotic and scarf up some more dough for the poor inept government boobs who just can't get it right, and need more of our hard earned dollars to fix their mistakes. 
 
Sorry, but when you pair up Sarah, all American woman, with Mac, all American hero, it makes plagiarist Joe, and his lawyer friend Barack look like two more of the good ol'boys who need to be sent packing.

The Democrats Can't Hide who They Are.

Good ol' Obama and Biden cannot seem to hide who they are...it just keeps slipping out. Just like the democrats can't hide their true character, the comedy team of Obama/Biden keeps putting who they are out there for Americans to see.
 
They are beside themselves that McCain had the nerve to choose a really smart, attractive, conservative woman for his running mate! They are making fools of themselves along with SNL, and the leftwing media, as they try their darndest to take potshots at Sarah and John McCain, and they are looking really bad. Even the beloved Oprah is looking foolish for refusing to give "equal time" to Sarah on her show, after going gaga over Barack.
 
All the left is doing is causing more and more people to say "this is over the top". People are coming out of the woodwork to see McCain and Palin  at their ralleys. They are waitng in line for hours at dawn to see Sarah Palin! It's great! Even democrat women are showing up excited about her!  
 
The Palins are a very special family, and we are liking what we see, and we  Americans aren't liking what the leftwing radicals are trying  to do to them.
 
Fox News has been featuring Greta's interviews with Palin's husband, Tod, showing videos of the Palin's life in Alaska. You simply can't help but love these people! They are the All -American couple, embodying the American spirit!
 
The Obamas, though they are an attractive couple, embody the America hating left, the blame America first crowd, and Biden embodies the elitist left that gets away with things like plagiarism, cheating, and blaming America for all that is wrong in the world.
 
I think this election is going to be a slam dunk!

Sarah Palin is What America is All About.

Sarah Palin is the quintessential American. She has shown the left what America is really all about, and they don't like it one bit! She has caught the imagination of people who were sick of politics as usual, and now they are excited, amazed and in awe!
 
Sarah Palin is the picture of the people who make America work. She loves God, family and country. She stepped up to the plate in her community, in her town, and in her state. She has the ability to lead. She is a natural leader, and as other leaders in the past who made a difference for good, she hasn't blinked. She accepted the call to service to her country, in a dangerous time in American history.
 
Books have been writtten about exceptional people of faith. People who made tough decisions, and have changed the directon of our country, and the world, for good.
 
It is clear, Sarah Palin is one of those leaders. She is a woman of great strength, courage and character. There are those who are trying to smear her family her faith, and her character. Americans will not stand for it.
 
McCain has shown he understands what we need in this country at this time, what direction we must take, and Sarah Palin has accepted his call to service. I believe this is a winning team for America.

May We Never Forget.

To the heroes who gave their lives to save others on 9-11, 2001, may we never forget your sacrifice. To the innocents who died in the attacks, may our country remember.
 
To those who put their lives on the line and went into the towers and the Pentagon to rescue those in peril, we offer our deepest gratitude. To the volunteers who worked endless days to uncover remains and clear the devastation, our deepest thanks. To those who spent days providing aid, water and food, to the volunteers at the World Trade Center area, and at the Pentagon, thank you. To all who worked endlessly and gave up their time to bring back normalcy to our land, thank you.
 
To the brave souls who fought the terrorists on flight 93 and prevented more devastation, God grant them peace, and may God grant comfort to the families of all who were lost.
 
To President Bush, who faced terror with strength and courage, and gave the nation hope, our deepest gratitude. May we never forget that it was his strength, courage, and resolve that kept our nation focused. To all in the Bush administration who worked with the president on behalf of our safety, and those who have worked to prevent another attack our deepest thanks.
 
May God bless our President, our military who fight for our freedom and safety, and may God bless the United States of America. May we never forget, and may God continue to protect our land.

Is Obama Losing It?

I'm thinking the bloom is off the rose...Obama is now looking rather desperate, with the "put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig" comment. Who might he be talking about? Hmmm...
 
The O'Reily interview on FOX showed how bad Obama is off the cuff. He can't think on his feet. He needs someone writing his script, and without that he flounders.
 
O' Reilly slammed Obama with his radical friendships...and it was not convincing to hear why he hangs out with the likes of Bill Ayres, Rev Wright, Father Flager, etc. "I know thousands of people"..."I was working on an educational program with Ayers"... Ayers is someone who "did something despicable when I was eight"... O'Reily responded "but Ayers said last week he "didn't do enough" in the attack on the Pentagon...
 
So, I'm watching this and...I'm not convinced. Can Obama convince Americans he's the one?

MSNBC Tired of Tanking Ratings, I guess...Will CNN Get the Hint?

Seems Chris Mathew's "tingles up my leg" over Obama, and Keith Olberman losing it while covering the GOP convention, has gotten both gents thrown off their anchor posts, to be replaced by David Gregory. Gregory will now host the presidential and VP debates, and election night coverage. Is that an improvement? Remains to be seen. 
 
CNN isn't doing much better with Kelly O'Donnel's coverage of McCain/Palin, and the other CNN anchors carrying the water for the Obama campaign. I guess when they lose all their viewers they'll wake up too.
 
CNN has been covering Palin speaking at her church before her VP run, as though somehow talking about praying for the troops, and for God's will in the war is something unusual. Sounds much more normal  for church talk than "God d** America" which came from Obama's pastor and mentor Rev. Wright, at Obama's church!
 
No wonder FOX has such high ratings...seems people prefer fair and balanced news...

Does Anyone Care?

It seems the "piranha media" is dying to devour Sarah Palin. Brit Hume, answering Chris Wallace on the  Fox Sunday Morning News Show, said " I don't think people give one fig about Palin answering to the press right now"...
 
Any mature person knows the debates will give the leftits anchors plenty opportunity to cross examine Palin with all the gotcha questions they can come up with. And it will be fun to watch her deal with those arrogant elitists in the press. However, Rick Davis speaking  for the McCain/ Palin campaign, when pressed by Wallace about when Palin would start giving interviews, answered, "the press isn't running the campaign"...good one.
 
I love the media. They are looking like absolute morons, after attacking Sarah's family. Keep it up, media. The backlash against your elitist attitude has already begun. You may wind up helping the McCain Palin cause.

Sarah Palin, A Breath of Fresh Air.

It is refreshing to see Sarah Palin's down to earth appeal.  She is such a huge contrast to the shrill elitists such as Pelosi, Hillary, Babara Boxer, and those who act as though we the people are nothing but mindless boobs, unable to think for ourselves, needing to be controlled and kept dependent under the nanny state growing ever larger.
 
Palin is a successful human being, who decided she had had enough of corrupt politicians pushing the people around for their own agrandizement. She decided to do something about it, and did. She ran for Mayor, then Governor. An American success story. Something to be admired and emulated. This is the story of America... and this is what the elitists hate.
 
The elite media and the blame- America- first- crowd  on the left will go after her with everything they've got. Those who divide Americans into groups to create disharmony and bitterness among us will do their best to crush her. I think she is up to the task. Are we?
 
The next few weeks will reveal whether "we the people" who believe in less government intrusion in our lives still have the power to overcome the odds. The battle is ours to win.

I Love it When the Media Is Caught By Surprise...

The media leftitsts thought they had succeeded in coronating their guy...then came Palin. McCain took a risk, and chose a dynamo who has won the hearts of Americans. There were more people watching our guy last night than their guy in Denver, and more watched the moose hunter from Alaska, than "the one" from Chicago...
 
I really got a laugh when Andrea Mitchell had to smile for the first time while covering the GOP convention...at the end of McCain's speech when the baloons dropped (successfully), she was lost in the flood, and she couldn't be seen. The people around her were batting balloons back and forth and she couldn't make headway. The other comentors were laughing as well, and there was a fun moment, when they called her "boom boom Mitchell".
 
The leftist media is now in a tizzy...how to get their guy in the White House after McCain caught them totally by surprise and chose his fabulous running mate. It makes their ticket look pretty boring, dull and out of touch. I love it.
 
Someone needs to write a song..."And Then Came Palin".

A Hero Americans Can Love. McCain Struck a Chord.

Finally Americans had a chance to see McCain for who he is. The first glimpse was at the Presidential Forum. The second was when he chose Sarah Palin. The third was his speech last night.
 
America saw in McCain for the first time, a man shaped by the experiences of war. A man who understands the horrors of war, who hates war, who's family has been a huge part of protecting and defending our homeland from the threats of dangerous dictators and nations who would threaten our freedom. I was proud.
 
Now the campaign really begins!

The GOP is Back!

Sarah Palin just brought the GOP back from the dead! McCain is a brilliant man! The leftwing media simply do not know what just happened! The picture of that sweet family, a very handsome family, was extremely moving, and had to make the "sarcastic media" feel rather stupid, after all the insults directed at Palin's daughter, who showed up with her future husband!
 
It is a riot to watch the media calling Sarah Palin "sarcastic". Gosh! What would they call Obama then? The media just got run over by a Mac truck, and they don't know what hit 'em!
 
One of many great lines of the night, was the "styrofoam greek collums" going back to a Hollywood set after the lights went out in Denver! That was priceless!
 
This night was the second nail in the Obama coffin. The Saddleback Forum was the first.

Who Would Make the Best First Lady? Michelle Obama or Cindy McCain?

We have been comparing Obama and McCain, Biden and Palin, personalities and experience, age and youth, but no one has been focused on First Lady.
Who would be the best role model in the White House? Frankly, having someone as First Lady who was in a church who's pastor said things like "not God bless America, but God D** America" among other disturbing things, and who said as the wife of the dem candidate that "this is the first time in my adult life I have been proud of my country " speaking of her husband being the democrat candidate for president, makes me think she would be a bad role model.
 
Cindy McCain on the other hand is quite appealing. She is strong, compassionate, has a record of being bold,( she was in Georgia after the Russian invasion, adopted a child from Mother Teresa's orphanage) is a successful businesswoman in her own right.  We will get to hear from her tonight. It will be interesting comparing her speech at the convention, to Michelle's at the dem extravaganza.
