The community organizer is proving to be quite a "national re-organizer". In the short time he has been in office, unlike any previous president, by slight of hand, he is on the road to accomplishing everything we knew he wanted to (with historic speed): take America backward, destroy capitalism, end national security, make us "equal" with all nations, deplete our military strength, and establish a pre- 911 policy that endangers every citizen.And this is just the tip of the iceburg...
 
Change we can believe in... and be scared of.

America is rapidly slouching toward "utopia". It hasn't been a year yet since the new administration has been in power and look what they have accomplished! Chris Mathews and his comrads on MSNBC must think they died and went to heaven...I remember Chris saying that the new president better "do something big" .

Ahnold the Governator is now the Cahlifornia Girly Man of the year for defending tax increases while presiding over the state's near bankrupcy. Hey Governator, the people don't want tax increases! What is this baloney about the GOP being "team players" with the current administration? Huh?
 
What could be more ironic? A failed governor who betrayed his state, after being elected to save it from the fate it now faces, telling the GOP to drop everything and follow the same plan for the whole country.
 
Hey governator, sorry... you win the "girly man" award for being a GOP pretender.Remember when you called the dems "girly men" for not doing their job? Now you win the title!

All we heard from certain quarters on Townhall during the run for the White House was how awful all the republican candidates were. Some mental midgets who called themselves "conservatives" were proud to say they weren't going to vote republican to "teach the republicans a lesson"...golly...guess who's going to pay for that brilliant decision? The average republican who works hard, pays taxes and makes the country work...nice going there brilliant ones!
Hope you are celebrating now that what you wanted is happening. The country just may go down the tubes, and you will get what you wanted, but with one little surprise...you may not have a chance to get your "Reagan", because the fix just may be in.
 
Some of you "wise" guys never counted on the fact that the dems might not play by the rules and abide by  the Constituion. Oh, but you just had to throw your little tantrum to "show the repubs".

Crying Wolf...Hey Harry, You Can Pass Your Bill...

All right, this is pretty obvious. The demsocialist pork bill could pass today with the dem majority, if they were willing to risk their keisters without any republican votes to cover their potential failure. Harry Reid, crying wolf, threatening a repeat of the Great Depression if this fraud of a "stimulus" doesn't pass, is beginning to wear thin with us out here in the hinterlands...come on, Harrry.
 
The new pres intimating a possible "catastrophe" if the pork doesn't pass, is not presidential, btw.
 
History proves the government only makes recessions worse! The Depression lasted longer than it would have if the government hadn't spent us into near oblivion.
 
Please, do everyone a favor. Clean out the pork, and pass a stimulus...we don't need to make the problem worse!

This is so comical to watch! A new Dem tax dodger to lead the Ill Health and Human Disservices Department! Good ol' Daschle...another loser nominee to lead us! Does this mean our hope and change is we can also dodge the confiscatory taxes, and live like the hypocritical dems?
 
As usual, held to a different standard, this is to be the "most ethical administration"...kinda like the Clinton admin, I guess. No surprises.
 
Looks like the "hope"  is the dem nominees who don't pay taxes "hoping" they will get a pass on their tax delinquency, and get  approved by like minded tax dodgers in the majority...the "change" is after their nomination, they change accountants...

Just Say No to More Porkbarrel Spending/More Debt/Bigger Government.

To madam Pelosi, her pal Senator Reid, and fellow majority demsocialists...I have a news flash: Those of us who are paying your salaries aren't in the mood for your porkbarrel spending plan to "stimulate" the economy. Speaking for myself, as an outside the beltway girl, it looks pretty dumb to be borrowing more money, which we will have to pay back for years to come, adding to an already huge debt. Please tell me where in history has more borrowing gotten any company or individual out of financial trouble?
 
It's time for the government to do what families are doing all across the fruited plane...tighten your belts, and freeze spending. How about a cut in pay for members of Congress and the Senate, salary freeze for all staff and government employees, hiring freeze in all departments of government, freeze in spending accross the board, no more porkbarrel projects?
 
In addition, stimulate the economy by cutting taxes, so people will have more money to spend,  provide businesses incentives through tax breaks, start drilling for our own oil to provide jobs and free us from our bondage to rogue nations who hate us, eliminate the death tax, and get out of the way so the American people can do what they do best: make America work!

The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Today we see a beautiful family who can be an example of love, responsibility and possibility, ready to move into the White House. The Good I see is that this can be a change in the democrat party from their pattern of using "victimhood" to advance their agenda, to promoting personal responsibility, character, and contribution, in a positive way. This could be a change in the democrat party. A change from "victimization" to "responsibility" and "possibility".
 
The bad as I see it, are the loud voices on the right who criticized the left for not being civil on Bush's inaugural, who will not be civil this inaugural. Can we take a break for now from the ranting? Unfortunately the picture of conservatism has become a loud mouth screaming , using the very tactics of the left that we've always deplored. I believe we can argue our disagreements without being insulting. We should not lower ourselves to that level.
 
The ugly, is the far left with their radical agenda for America who will try to ram their ideology through and force it on the rest of us. Let us continue to work against their radical agenda, continue to defend the truth, being involved and active, without lowering ourselves to their level of discourse, and encourage this administration to move right instead of left..
 
We will have time to debate the issues, policies,etc, as the days pass, and we will all see what this administration will do.

My, my my, it is amazing how Chris Mathews is beside himself about how Hollywood is coming out in droves for the big inaugural! Isn't that exciting! Chris has been in the doldrums since Bush was elected because he wasn't a Hollywood and party kind of guy. Chris believes he is the determiner of who and what  is cool, and who isn't...who looks good, and who's ugly, as he swoons over the inaugural and participants...well Chris, guess what. To those of us who live in reality, (unlike the media elites) you are uncool, and your friends in Hollyweird are uncool.. They are the ones contributing to dragging our country though the gutter, polluting the minds of our youth, and in general making Americans look like scum.
 
Sorry Chris ol' buddy, cool is the guy who made it without a government handout, and is working his heart out to succeed in life to take care of his family and provide a service and employment to other "cool" people who actually work for a living and make this country great.
 
Cool, Chris, are the people who volunteer their time without the government paying them a dime to help the poor, the sick, and the not so cool... the  needy. Cool is the family who works hard to keep their families together against all odds, living in the inner cities, working to get ahead and get an education for themselves and their kids, without whinning that the government isn't giving them all the freebies.
 
Cool are the men and women who fight for you abroad so you can sit there on TV and make a total fool of yourself. Cool is the patriot who went to war when it would have been easier to stay home and play nintendo. 
 
Cool is the human being who realizes government isn't the end all; that rights and liberty come from the Creator, not the government. Cool is the person who kneels to pray, who lives an honorable life, who is an example of human decency and dignity.
 
Cool, Chris, are those someones who know they are fallible, and there is more to life than the here and now,  that the Hollywood glitz is fake, and that the baby in the womb is a human being who should be protected. Cool are the defenders of the suffering, cool are the people who put their lives on the line every day to rescue someone in danger. Cool is just about everything you think is uncool, Chris.

Who Will the Media Beat Up On Now?

Now that president Bush has said his goodbyes, who will the propagandists in the media beat up on for fun (besides Palin, that is...)? The proapagandists have discovered a new power that they thought was over when talk radio first hit the airwaves.
 
Unfortunately,  the grand poopa of radio, Rush, and some conservative pundits and authors (Ann Coulter/ Laura Ingraham) have gone so far over the top with their rhetoric that they have lost credibility. They hate the left and the hate anyone on the right who isn't right enough for them, so from behind their microphones and on TV shows they make themselves and the rest of us look quite silly, and verbose. Why should we use the left's tactics? Look where it has gotten us. Hope they are happy, because it will be a long time before, or if, we ever have a majority again, not to mention the White House.
 
I'm Irritated.

Well, Bush said goodbye to the country. I believe he will be looked upon as one of our best presidents. We can nit pick about all the nitty gritty, and the things we didn't agree with. Well here's the news: he isn't perfect, but he did an amazing job while getting hit from all sides. He is a very strong man, and he showed tremendous grace, patience and civility in light of all the propaganda, lies, hatred, and pathology due to the dems trying to get him for the criticism Clinton got from the right while in office. Well, Clinton created his own mess, he dishonored the office, the White House, and deserved every bit of criticism he got.
 
So, Mr. President, you did what you promised. You kept the country safe after that horrible attack, you added great men to the Supreme Court, you were strong in the defense of innocent life, of marriage, you kept our taxes low, and you brought a cheery face to many injured military heroes. You strengthened our National Defense, our Military, you encouraged our allies around the world. You fought terrorists and their evil plans and thwarted disasters here on our homeland.
 
Thank you Mr.President, and God Speed.

Oh wow. Our president elect is the super star of the press. Isn't it amazing. All you have to do is be a leftwinger and the paparazzi is drooling all over you. If this guy were a conservaqtive, well, need I say more...
 
I remember the day when the press was in a deep depression because there was going to be Texas "big hair" in the White House. The elites in the media couldn't fathom a White House without the Hollywood celebs at parties and sleeping over in the Lincoln bedroom. Now they have their dream White House family. Camelot is back...guess they will be on cloud nine now...utopia is in their reach at last.

New Year Resolutions I'll Probably Break...

However there are a few resolutions that will be easy to keep.
 
1.Not watch Chris Mathews/ Keith Oberman, and the  Madow Comedy acts. 
2.Not watch CNN/ NBC/CBS/ABC

A Brave New World?

Phyllis Schlafley has written a column featured here at Townhall that should chill every freedom loving American to the bone. It describes the global aspirations of the incoming administration. On this eve of a new year, Americans could be facing the long anticipated arrival of the left's plan to end American sovereignty as we know it, with treaties that would hand over power to an international entity, which would oversee world affairs.
 
Sounds like something out of a Tom Clancy novel with all sorts of international intrigue, but could this be history in the making  and not  fiction? There is only one Book that has recorded the Creation and history of man, kings and governments that have come and gone, with  predicictions of a future time of a global government yet to unfold. We may be witnessing the very future written of in Scripture in our lifetime.
 
An intriguing thought as we look toward the new year, and what the current news portends for the future.Only God knows. May His Peace fill our hearts at this Christmas time.
