There is one man standing between us and eternity, holding out his hand to welcome us into life eternal. The one who stretched out His arms on the cross for you and me: Jesus, the perfect lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. He took the penalty of death, for the sins of mankind.
The good news is that Easter morning dawned, and Christ arose to conquer death for us all! He paid the penalty and was victorious over the grave! He suffered and died that we might live! The gift of eternal life for all who believe, and receive it. That day changed the world.
What a glorious day it must have been, and today more than two thousand years later, the world awaits, and rejoices! Hope has dawned!
