Who Will the Media Beat Up On Now?

Now that president Bush has said his goodbyes, who will the propagandists in the media beat up on for fun (besides Palin, that is...)? The proapagandists have discovered a new power that they thought was over when talk radio first hit the airwaves.

Unfortunately,  the grand poopa of radio, Rush, and some conservative pundits and authors (Ann Coulter/ Laura Ingraham) have gone so far over the top with their rhetoric that they have lost credibility. They hate the left and the hate anyone on the right who isn't right enough for them, so from behind their microphones and on TV shows they make themselves and the rest of us look quite silly, and verbose. Why should we use the left's tactics? Look where it has gotten us. Hope they are happy, because it will be a long time before, or if, we ever have a majority again, not to mention the White House.

I'm Irritated.

Is the Media Now Controlled by Sixties Socialists Who Want to Be the Democrat Party Press Secretary?

Watching the spectacle of this election has been incredibly enlightening. There is no question who the media wanted to win. Is this good for America? Has the media been honest with the American people, or has the media taken sides?

I wonder if the circumstances were turned around, and the charismatic minority candidate was the republican, would the media be covering the republican with the same adoring zeal?

I think it can be fairly said that the leftwing media is now the democrat party Press Secretary, working for a permanent democrat majority rule.

Does Anyone Care?

It seems the "piranha media" is dying to devour Sarah Palin. Brit Hume, answering Chris Wallace on the  Fox Sunday Morning News Show, said " I don't think people give one fig about Palin answering to the press right now"...

Any mature person knows the debates will give the leftits anchors plenty opportunity to cross examine Palin with all the gotcha questions they can come up with. And it will be fun to watch her deal with those arrogant elitists in the press. However, Rick Davis speaking  for the McCain/ Palin campaign, when pressed by Wallace about when Palin would start giving interviews, answered, "the press isn't running the campaign"...good one.

I love the media. They are looking like absolute morons, after attacking Sarah's family. Keep it up, media. The backlash against your elitist attitude has already begun. You may wind up helping the McCain Palin cause.

The Politics of Personal Destruction... Alive and Well on the Left.

The left  is having a cow over McCain's brilliant choice of Sarah Palin for his running mate. They didn't have a woman who cut the mustard for Obama, and his choice was, well, underwhelming. Biden is basically a crooked leftist, who gets favors, plagiarizes other people's material, but no big deal.

Then again, you have a conservative woman who is a success, strong  and personable, who could actually wind up in the White House down the road! What can the left do about that? Not much, so they go after her family. Wow.

My prediction is this is going to backfire bigtime. The politics of personal destruction is alive and well on the left, with their surrogates in the media doing the dem's work for them.

Did the dems say they want to "end the politics of personal destruction"? Or... did I imagine that?

Did McCain Knock the Wind out of the Obama/Biden Sails?

McCain has managed to pull one on the Media and the Obama/Biden campaign. The Maverick has shocked the world of American politics.
The pick of a woman for VP puts the Media in a difficult position. I've never seen Andrea Mitchell with a loss for words...the announcement of Sarah Palin, a young woman, on the McCain ticket threw her for a loop...she was literally without words!

This will be interesting to see. The media didn't say much about Condi putting millions of cracks in the "glass ceiling". Mac has trumped the Obama ticket, and the air is out of their sails...what will the media do now?

What the "Experts" Don't Get About Obama's Low Poll Numbers.

In my humble opinion, the "experts" have totally missed the essential reason why Obama isn't resonating with the public in terms of the presidential race.

Obama looks like a typical errogant sports figure or Hollywood star (who takes himself far too seriously) traveling around the globe spouting politically correct leftwing platitudes, with the lapdog media in tow. The Media have actually succeeded in their goal, making Obama a "rock star", but to their surprise, I believe, it has shown he is definitely NOT presidential material. It's funny, and ironic, and the talking heads have totally missed this.

McCain looks like a presidential candidate who has wisdom about how to run a war and a country, and deal with the democrats in the House and Senate. He has reasonable ideas about the energy crisis, he is mature enough to change his views on the issue, due to the current high cost of fuel, our obvious and dangerous dependence on foreign oil, and he is in step with the majority of the American people on this.

In addition, McCain has a sense of humor. Unlike the "experts" negative analysis of his TV appearance at a German restaurant (while the globe trotting Obama spoke in Berlin), and McCain's visit to the town of Bethlemem here in the US, (while Obama was over in Israel praying at the great wall), I believe McCain's "strategery" was quite smart.

So, this is the way I see it, and I believe I am right, and the "experts" are wrong, and they may be very surprised come November.
