To all those extremely intelligent people who wasted a vote by sitting out the election, or throwing it away to a third party loser, my congratulations. You got what you wanted, and now your show has begun.
Yesterday we saw W making the transition for the next resident in the White House a seamless one, after he endured in his "welcome" to the White House eight short years ago, the missing Ws from computers and the usual leftist thuggery of trashed offices, and grafiti. What a contrast!
I have been amazed at the many who have jumped in and joined the left in the bashing of our president for the last six years or so. I have heard how "teaching the party a lesson", and throwing every R out of office will bring enough calamity to the nation that we will all run to the polls in two years and re-gain the majority. I certainly hope you are right about the next majority. And if you are, I will be the first to admitt it. But if I am right, and you are wrong, and we face a very uncertain future, un- recoverable for a long, long time, with an America we don't recognize, I hope you will admitt you were wrong.
