The Best Way To Advance Conservatism?

There has been quite a discussion on the blogs for a long time now, about how to best advance the cause of conservatism at this point in our history. My argument has been that advancing Conservatism would best be achieved when we have the majority in both Houses, and the White House, in order to have the ability to work within the system to advance our principles and weed out bad apples who aren't representing our values. This would enable us to have the ability to voice our opinion (and be heard) on issues that we felt were critical, such as occurred with the immigration bill that many opposed. 

On the other side of the argument, some say it is better to throw all republicans out, give the democrats the majority, let them apply their principles which are in opposition to ours, and then (hopefully) we will find another Reagan-like leader to come to the rescue and reverse the dire circumstances created by liberal principles.

My argument has been that this is too dangerous, under current global circumstances, and btw, Thomas Sowell wrote a piece on this before the election echoing my sentiments. I think most would agree he is a CONSERVATIVE.

So this is my question. Based on the fact that the country is now being run by liberal principles, and we now have no power to be heard if we object to trillion dollar deficits,  government take over of a large part of the private sector, and the current attempt to take over healthcare, which approach seems to be the best for advancing Conservatism?

Right now does it look like maybe the latter was not the best game plan?

America's Future in Question?

Our Constitution was written by honorable men for honorable men. How does the Constitution deal with corrupt men ( ie dictator wannabes) who gain total power through our election process?
 
Our system relies on honest elections, and while the converstation among some conservative pundits has been that if the left wins (which they did)  and takes the country down the tubes (which they are), we would come back in the next election and take back the House and Senate, and then two years later in the presidential election, we would take back the White House, this is all based on hope...it isn't a given.
 
So here we are. We are now in the process of figuring out how the tea parties will grow into a permanent movement to gain back control of the government which is now spiralling out of control. We have an administration  in power that is radically left, and is poised to take the previous administration to trial for having taken their oath to protect America seriously, after a barbaric attack on our soil. The interesting little factoid is the Bush administration did everything with the approval of  Democrats...but in the new world of selective reality, that doesn't seem to matter.

Remaking America in the Image of the Radical Left...a Trillion Dollar Gamble.

America is rapidly slouching toward "utopia". It hasn't been a year yet since the new administration has been in power and look what they have accomplished! Chris Mathews and his comrads on MSNBC must think they died and went to heaven...I remember Chris saying that the new president better "do something big" .
 
My, my what a difference a day makes with the democrats in total control.

Fence Sitters and Undecideds Consider This...

The current meltdown has come to America thanks to the socialist policies of the democrat party. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd have presided over the biggest sham ever perpetrated on America, with the help of Obama's friends in ACORN, the Black Caucus, and others like president Carter, and Clinton, who with the democrat party passed laws that have brought us to today's meltdown, with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debacle.
 
There is a tie to William Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist as well...he set Obama up with ACORN, to do the community "organizing" that helped ACORN shake down banks who wouldn't give loans to people who would never pay them back.
 
To those republicans who are planning to vote for a third party, calling it a "conscience" vote, they can't explain how putting these socialist/marxists in charge is going to be good for America. It is suicidal to gamble on the fact that maybe conservatives will come out of the woodwork after the country becomes chaotic, and win the majority again, along with a "Reagan" like president.
 
Just think. By not voting Mac/Palin, and for republicans accross the board, you could be keeping the people in power who have caused this debacle,  and reward them with the ability to continue policies that will run this country further into the ground, with no end in sight on taxation, bigger more controlling government, and a country that is no longer free.
 
Why would anyone with a conscience do this to America?

Sarah Palin is What America is All About.

Sarah Palin is the quintessential American. She has shown the left what America is really all about, and they don't like it one bit! She has caught the imagination of people who were sick of politics as usual, and now they are excited, amazed and in awe!
 
Sarah Palin is the picture of the people who make America work. She loves God, family and country. She stepped up to the plate in her community, in her town, and in her state. She has the ability to lead. She is a natural leader, and as other leaders in the past who made a difference for good, she hasn't blinked. She accepted the call to service to her country, in a dangerous time in American history.
 
Books have been writtten about exceptional people of faith. People who made tough decisions, and have changed the directon of our country, and the world, for good.
 
It is clear, Sarah Palin is one of those leaders. She is a woman of great strength, courage and character. There are those who are trying to smear her family her faith, and her character. Americans will not stand for it.
 
McCain has shown he understands what we need in this country at this time, what direction we must take, and Sarah Palin has accepted his call to service. I believe this is a winning team for America.
