I was quite surprised to hear Barack on 60 minutes sounding more like a center right president elect than a leftist! Is his strategy to govern more as a centrist his first term? And what would he do his second term if that were the case?
It would be interesting to watch the new president asserting his position as Comander in Chief by standing up to Nancy and Harry, and saying no to their agendas. He could surprise everyone...at least for his first term.
No one really knows what will happen, but in his 60 minutes interview, he sounded almost like it is a real possibility that he could surprise all the pundits!
Would that drive Chris Mathews and Keith Oberman nuts, or what?
