What if the socialist democrats have been planning this event for a long time... creating a crisis, hoping for a bad meltdown, so they can set Bush up as Herbert Hoover, and Obama as F.D.R.? If they succeed, they would then be in power for 40 years...
This was my Dad's take on the current events in Washington, a very wise observer of history. We were discussing the strange happenings in the House, Pelosi's actions, and the resulting failure of the vote on the bail out.
Could it be that whatever occurs, the dems hope to accomplish exactly what my Dad suspects?
