I heard Tom Delay in an interview promoting his new book, and he made some interesting points regarding the last election, and why we lost, big time.
He mentioned the political "Clintonista" machine the Left has built in the aftermath of campaign "reform", which has mostly hurt the Right, since the Left has the "propaganda media" on it's side.
Another interesting point that came up in the interview that really made me think, is how the Left runs in packs (such as unions),. All the "groups" within Leftism help each other in their bigger cause. Abortion rights activists work with gun control activist, anti war activists work with environmental activists who work with anti-nuke activists, who work with global warming activists, and you name the leftists/socialist cause, whatever it is, they are all of one voice, along with the unions. Their goal is socialism, bigger government, more control over our lives, higher taxes, shared global power, and anti Americanism.
When a Leftist goes to college, his or her goal is usually to graduate and work for the cause of bigger government. They will likely join a union, or go to work for a government entity or go into journalism, or education. A conservative goes to college to learn how to become independent, successful, and work to be a good American.
Conservatives don't walk in lock step as the libs do. Conservatives are individualists. We will align ourselves with a cause, and for the cause, we will wind up defeating ourselves.The Left plays us like a fiddle, and gets us to throw out the good with the bad, by focusing on a few bad apples and their human failures, with the relentless pounding on the negative.
This is where the Left can trump us. If we don't unite as conservatives for Freedom, Liberty, American Sovereignty and strength. We must work hard to get more conservatives in the congress, and in the White House. We must put the pressure on to get the nominee we want.
If we don't get the nominee that has EVERYTHING we want, are we better off turning the reigns of power over to the enemy?
What will Conservatives do?
