Can We Trust Candidates Based on What They Say?

When we look at candidates running for office in the United States Government, can we trust what they say?
Sometimes when we look behind the facade, we find quite a different story than what appears to be true. It can happen on either side of the political spectrum. It seems scrutiny of one's lifestyle might be in order, or one's voting record, if there is one. This can be true on the Left and Right side of things.

This past election there were people on the Left who ran as "conservatives" or people of "faith",  who got many votes from Christians, we are told. Can they be trusted, or was it a ploy? I guess we'll soon find out.

I believe the 08 election is going to be one of the most critical in our history. The person who winds up in the Oval Office, along with those who wind up in the House and the Senate will play a critical role in the future of our nation.

At this point which candidate appears to be someone we can trust to be the next president of the United States, of either party, based on their actions, not words?
