Is anyone surprised the Left in this country doesn't want to discuss the issues?
Democrats have no ideas for this country. They are a party in shambles, who dislike America, who would like our country to share superpower status with our adversaries in the world, and wouldn't mind if we lost the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and worse, the war on terror.
They are the party that supports "talks" with tyrants, dictators and terrorists, they are the party of cut and run, tax and spend, open borders, drivers license for illegals, no ID's for voters! They are for terrorist rights, and against surveillance on plots to attack us.
They are the party who's ex-presidents and vice-president (as in Clinton, Carter, and Gore) go abroad in time of war to berate our President and our country in treasonist fashion. They belittle our brave military, and treat them like children, who are forced against their will to fight for our country. They give talking points to our enemy.
The Democrat party had fifty years in power, and we've had to clean up the mess they left, and are doing it! Starting with Newt's contract with America, we've made major gains, and they don't like it. Now they refuse to discuss the issues, because they have no plan for the future. They simply want to gain back their power.
Their plan is "we can do better". Better at what? Better at "how can we fool 'em today?"
It's time to send a strong message to the Democrats and the American media: your plan for "we can do better" i.e. "how can we fool 'em today" will not stand!
Will the party of cut and run divert the nation from the dangers we face in the world, while dragging our nation through the gutter? Will the Left manage to fool the republicans into turning back the clock and losing the gains we've made in such a short time? We must stay the course. We are the better party. We must take the battle to the enemy and win.
